Lets give it a try . . .

My friend Amy is an avid blogger. For several months now I have enjoyed her "Confessions" blog spot. It's her blog that has sparked my curiosity. Honestly, the idea of blogging has always intrigued me, but until now I hadn't the courage to try it. Admittedly, I was a little fearful that my ramblings may seem like just that, ramblings. Nothing of real interest to anyone.

Today, however, I decided to cast all fear aside and said to myself, "lets give it a try!"

So here I am, typing the first of hopefully many "Reflections" of my life and thoughts on anything and everything. I'm sure it will be a great creative outlet for my desire to write things.

In regard to my irrational fear about my blogs, I am reminded of FDR's first inaugural speech where he said, "The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself."
