Thrifty Thursday, #19

Hi everyone!

Thrifty Thursday has been hit or miss for me lately.  I haven't been out garage saling or Goodwilling in an effort to save money.  This will actually be my last Thrifty Thursday until later in the fall.

I'm not planning on going to anymore garage sales this season.  As a matter of fact, I'm planning to HAVE a garage sale.  I've accumulated quite a collection of things, bought at great prices, that I'm hoping will turn a profit.

Today I went on a farewell to thrifting excursion.  I hit two local Goodwills finding a few treasures, as well as 3 pairs of pants and 3 shirts.

Here's this week's treasures:

I have several of these wooden barrels with painted apples on them.  This one was only $1.00.  I bought a half-a-barrel back in Thrifty Thursday, #13.  I plan to use this small one to house utensils.  It's missing its lid and I believe it was a part of a set, but I couldn't find the rest of them!  Bummer!

I really liked this wooden plaque.  As you all know, my kitchen has apples in it and hearts.  I was so excited, that I hung it up right away.  It was only .50 cents.

I liked this brass apple bell.  It was only .75 cents and I loved the sound of its chime!

Lastly, I found a set of 5 hanging clovers to use to decorate for St. Patrick's Day.

Here's a short video of the apple bell ringing:

Well, that does it for Thrifty Thursday.  See you again in the fall.
