Monthly Game Night

My family and I love to play games; and there's no better way to spend an evening than to gather a bunch of friends for food, fun and fellowship. Oh and a little friendly competition.

Tonight was our monthly game night. A time to get away from it all and just have a good time!

We, and a few couples we know, gather once a month to visit, enjoy a meal and play games together. Each month a different couple hosts. There's always a theme for the dinner and we enjoy desserts and snacks while playing the games.

Some of our favorite games to play are:

* Phase 10 card game - A top contender!
* Apples to Apples - So hilarious!
* UNO
* Dutch Blitz card game - You must be fast,
w/ monkey arms!
* Buzz Word - NEW tonight!! It must and shall
be played again!! A big hit!!

Next game night is at our house. I think we may try a game of Mexican Train Dominoes. None of us has played in forever and it will be fun to mix it up a bit.

Game nights are always a blast. It gives us all something to look forward too each month!

With the holiday rush, we hadn't had a game night since November 2009. I always miss it when we skip months. It was refreshing to be back on schedule!

Thanks to the Oltz family for hosting tonight, the tacos were excellent. A big Thank You to the Taylors also, for hosting the past two game nights.
