My family and I are big time Clementine orange eaters! Our usual Clementine brand is Cuties. But today, on my trip to Aldis, I found these Tropicana Clementines. I have to admit, I thought they were awfully small. However, I couldn't pass them up for the very reasonable price of $2.99.
I went shopping with my mom today. She told me she had seen the Clementines, laughed and passed them up because they were so tiny. Thinking to herself, "Who would buy those!" Then, while I was bagging my groceries, she told me how funny she thought it was that I had in fact bought them!
Well. . . ha ha, jokes on her! They are the sweetest, the juiciest, the most delicious Clementines I have ever eaten!
I just thought I'd share that story as I enjoy one of these delectable little boosts to the immune system. After all, with H1N1, regular flu and cold seasons upon us any extra Vitamin C boosts are good. They aren't bad for the diet either. At just 50 calories each they are definitely a diet friendly food.
It never fails, he always picks the opposite photo as me. So this time, not wanting him to feel slighted, I decided to include both pictures.
In an effort to be fair and due to my curious nature, lets take a vote. If you've read this post and want to play along, please cast your vote for which photo you liked best.
Thank you in advance for participating in my Orangetastic Picture Pole!
Finally, if there's an Aldis in your area that carries these teeny tiny Tropicana Clementines BUY SOME!

I have to say I like the bottom one. And why is it that my husband does the very same thing??
ReplyDeleteOkay, so fun! I like the top picture MUCH better.....kinda shadowy but I like that the background behind the plate and plate match and don't take away from the focus of the photo....the little "cutie". BTW, my husband, the ever-attorney says "If you aren't going to follow my advice, why did you ask for it?" What he doesn't get is that I "collect" opinions and then decide for myself. Safe to say he has NO ego problem!
ReplyDeleteOkay. Pete liked Picture No. 2, I liked Picture No. 1. The only problem I had with picture No. 1 was the shadows that I'm sure a good photography class would teach me how to avoid or eliminate altogether.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy and Shirley for playing along! You two are the best.
