Favorites on Friday

Today's Friday favorites are my frogs, Coby pictures, wooden decoupage plaques and a vintage plaque pictured on the left.

This plaque makes me smile!  I can SO see a grubby little boy come in after a long day of catching frogs, to take a bath with . . .you guessed it. . . a FROG!

One of my favorite (needs to be painted) rooms in the house, is our bathroom.  It's no surprise, having told you about my frog fetish, that it's decorated with frogs.

Not just your ordinary garden variety, oh no!  These frogs are the cleanliest frogs you'll ever see.

I fell in love with these darling pictures painted by an artist who signs them, Coby.  Each print depicts a frog or frogs, engaged in various bathroom routines.

I searched high and low for these pictures; and finally found them on eBay.  Boy, was I ever excited!  It was an added bonus for me that they came all the way from England--being that I have a fascination with England!

I couldn't wait to hang them in the water closet.  I love how the English call their bathrooms water closets; and since these pictures are from England, I thought it would only be fitting to use their terminology.

I have just a few more pictures to share with you.  Then my froggy little post will be complete.  The next pictures are my wooden decoupage plaques.  I love decoupage and these fit right into my collection.

Here are two very attractive frog ladies.  I imagine each grooming themselves for the bug ball.  Soon they'll be ready to hop over to the next lily pad and croak the night away.

I have a vivid imagination, if you can't tell.  I really like these and I found each of them at different times, at different thrift stores.

This pair of froggy dudes are probably sprucing themselves up to meet the ladies above, at the bug ball.  I'm sure they'll have a hoppin' good time!

I love the vintage colors in all these pictures.  The bright oranges and yellows.  The dainty flowers, just lovely!
The artist did a marvelous job including so much detail.  There's even little bubbles coming out of the frogs mouth as he leans his head back to gargle.

I love the flower sink and faucet, don't you?

I just hate that this picture turned out so blurry.  It's one of my favorites and I wish you could see it clearer.

I can completely relate to this little frog.  I close my eyes and my knees shake when I get on the scale too!  So adorable.

Well, that's it for me and my favorites today.  Until next Friday, may your days be filled with your favorite things!
