Five Minute Friday: Favorite Things

Good evening everyone.  I'm chiming in a teeny bit late today, but better late then never--I always say.

I wanted to send a BIG "Thank You" out to Lisa-Jo and DaySpring for the wonderful I Love You plaque.  I can't believe I won!  I was so excited when I found out the news!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Now for this week's 5 minute post, with The Gypsy Mama.

Our subject today is:  A Few of My Favorite Things . . . 

GO:

Oh my favorite things!  Where to start?  There are so many, that are dear to my heart.

Like Jesus and my bible.

My husband and my children.

Moments spent with those I love.

Sleeping kitty cat snores.

Happy Chickadees fluttering around the lilac bush.

The scent of Lilacs.

Plunging my nose into the center of a velvety rose and taking a great big whiff.

French Fried Potatoes of any size, shape or kind.

CHOCOLATE!  Lots and lots of chocolate.

Frozen Cokes, I love frozen cokes.  I think I keep our local Speedway in business, just from purchasing frozen cokes!

Music and my iPod loaded with oodles and oodles of songs for my listening pleasure.  I love the melodies and harmonies and oh the wonderful lyrics of all my favorite songs by all my favorite singers.

The changing seasons and every beautiful thing that each one offers.

Roller skating.

Swimming and sitting on the beach in my lawnchair, feet buried to my ankles in the sand, with a good find-a-word puzzle in hand, while my children splash away happily.

STOP.

I could have gone on and on and on . . . I have LOTS of favorite things.  But it is really tough to spontaneously come up with them in 5 minutes FLAT!
