Because It Makes Me Smile

I wanted to share a video with you because it makes me smile.  On the smile-ometer it gets a pretty big reading!

Lots of things make me happy and they don't necessarily fit in the same mold.  My taste in music, video, cartoons, books and, well, just about everything is varied and interesting, to say the least.

I can't exactly pin point what it is about this video that makes me smile so.  But it does!

Maybe it's the quirkiness or uniqueness of it.  Maybe it's the eclectic decor, possibly the blank look on their faces--and absence of smiles--as they do a seemingly difficult thing.  I, for one, wouldn't be able to hold a straight face and I would MOST definitely bust up laughing!

Or maybe it's the beat of the music, with the lyrics that I don't understand.  Whatever it is, I like it and it makes me happy!

So. . . this being my blog and all; and me being the "plain and simple Northern Indiana girl, writin' about the things I love and the things that make my happy," I thought I'd share it.

This isn't a new video; and maybe you have already seen it.  If you have, it's worthy of another viewing.  If you have not, then watch and enjoy!  It really is fascinating and sure to coax a smile or at least get your toes tapping to the beat.

These two are Irish step dancers (like the Riverdance stuff with Michael Flatley on PBS); and this is how they practice their dancing routines.  They came up with this routine just for this song.  Very cool.
