Thrifty Thursday, #15

I'm feeling very lethargic today, that's why my Thrifty Thursday post is a little late.

I had a great time garage saling with my honey this past weekend.  We hit quite a few sales!

I found several inexpensive treasures!

I'm not in a real talkative mood, so this post is long on pictures and short on words.

Pyrex Butterfly Gold I, Cinderella bowl for $.50 cents at a church rummage sale.

My grandmother had these Texas Ware bowls and I've always liked them.  This is a good sized one for just $1.00.

It's a pretty gray one with pink, peach, cream and several other speckles of color.

Divided Melmac type serving bowl for $.50 cents.

A bowl of wooden apples and a single wooden pear; and you thought I only liked plastic fruit!

I get really excited when I find these wooden, half eaten apples.  I've amassed quite a collection now.

Carved wooden figurine of Jesus, Joseph and Mary.

A couple older ornaments, one from Alaska.  I liked the one with the Eskimo because she is holding an otter and Pete really likes otters.

Porcelain momma kitty and her kitten.  I thought their expressions were so sweet.  Found them at a yard sale for $1.00.

Another bust, this time of Jesus.  I really like it.

Pretty little ceramic cardinal wall hangings.  They were only $.50 cents each at an estate sale.

Cookbooks, can you imagine I would buy cookbooks?!?!  They were $.25 cents each.  What a steal.

Finally, a folding yarn or magazine basket.

Well, that does it for this week's Thrifty Thursday.
