It has been so hot here that my brain has been mush; and mush is no good for blog writing. But today I've mustered up enough brain power to do a short Word(LESS) Wednesday post.
Very short, indeed!
This beautiful momma morning dove is keeping watch over her little charge. She and papa morning dove have two baby doves and seem to like our side yard, for resting in between their travels.
Here's the smallest of the two baby morning doves. The larger one flew off before I could get a good picture of it. But this little scutter was none too shy and not in any hurry to give his wings a try. Isn't he just the cutest little thing? I sure think so.
UPDATE: Below is a picture I took this afternoon of the smallest little baby dove. What a difference 3 days makes. Each of them has grown so much!
