A bit shy at first. . .
The tree swallow dipped and dived, swooped and looped.
Then the brave little guy came in for a landing.
Unafraid of the fact that I was standing right next to its nest, it flew up with a feather in it's beak.
Its nest is in a dead tree next to the retention pond behind Bendix Park.
I So badly want to capture a bird in flight without blur.
I have much to learn about shutter speeds and macro settings.
Wet Crocks, feet and blue jeans from wading into the water to try a better vantage point. I'm lucking I didn't fall into the brink.
