It's time for another edition of 5 minute Friday, with The Gypsy Mama.
She says it best on how to play along. That's why I'll quote her, to give you all the instructions.
I just love how she puts it, "Stop, drop and write. . ."
"Here’s how the game works: you simply stop, drop and write for five minutes flat! Set your words free. Don’t edit them, don’t fret over them, don’t try to make them perfect."
So this week's topic is: I feel the most loved when . . .
GO:
When I think about Jesus and His unconditional, never wavering, always faithful love for me.
When my husband tells me he loves and appreciates me.
When he says he wants to grow old and spend each and every day with me for the rest of eternity.
When he walks up behind me at the kitchen sink and wraps his arms around me, completely engulfing me and whispers sweet nothings in my ear, as I wash the silverware.
When my children get in the van, after a busy day at school, and the first thing out of their mouths is, "I missed you and love you mom, how was your day?" To me--the mom--the one who does the asking of the questions.
I feel most loved when I am sick and my family pitches in to take care of me, themselves and the house.
I felt most loved as a child when my mother would touch my forehead with her cool, soft hands when I was sick. My mom is a loving, gentle and caring mother. I also feel most loved because she is my best friend.
I felt most loved as a child when my grandmother used to hold me in her lap and rock me gently in the rocking chair, humming a song softly in my ear.
I feel most loved when my husband corrects me after I say, "dinner was good," by telling me, "No. Dinner wasn't good, it was FANTASTIC!"
I feel most loved when I curl up beside him in bed and wake up beside him in the morning.
I feel most loved when I hear the sound of his car pull up and realize he is home from work.
I feel most loved when I see the beauty of nature each and everyday; and know that God has made it as an expression of His love for me.
STOP.
There you have it, my 5 minutes of feeling Most Loved.

Oh...I totally get the feeling of loved when he comes home and you can hear the car. After 12 years of marriage I still get giddy! Visiting via 5min Fridays. Have a great weekend!
