Tea Time

"Strange how a tea pot can represent, at the same time, the comforts of solitude and the pleasures of company." ~ Author Unknown

"Remember the tea kettle - it is always up to its neck in hot water, yet it still sings!" ~ Author Unknown

"If you are cold, tea will warm you.  If you are too heated, it will cool you.  If you are depressed, it will cheer you.  If you are excited, it will calm you." ~ Gladstone, 1865

I love my stainless steel teakettle and its singing whistle when the water is ready.

My favorite tea to sip is Plantation Mint.  I love that it's warm and soothing, yet cool and refreshing.  I also enjoy Honey Ginseng Mint, Peppermint, Spiced Chai and many, many more.

Another of my favorites at tea time, are Biscoff cookies.  Sadly, I'm on a Low-Carb diet and can't have them with my tea anymore.  I miss my Biscoff cookies, very much.

But . . .

I enjoyed my tea time anyway.

  1. Tea is perhaps the eighth wonder of the world! I used to have black tea with cream and sugar but since cutting out most caffeine, I am now drinking chamomile tea... with cream and sugar. Up to three cups a day! So good!
