A rather wordy Wordless Wednesday.
A day on the farm.
With Rita and her children.
One of my dearest friends, Rita, and I in front of her bunny house/chicken coop.
(The sun was in our eyes, causing my squinting. Not a good picture of me, but the only one from the day. Rita is adorable, as always.)
Rita's 4 adorable children: Isabella, Jacob, Solomon and Gideon.
There were fluffy, blue eyed bunnies . . .
And pink, fluffy-less baby bunnies . . .
This chicken was giving me the "stink eye," for sure!
Cluck, cluck, cluck . . .
I was taken with this Rooster.
He was so handsome!
He walked around like he owned the chicken yard.
This is Penny, she is due any day now. Rita thinks she may be having twins.
Penny was munching grass here . . . what a beautiful face!
The front of Rita's barn.
It's a barn with a lot of charm.
This Ewe was NONE too friendly. She shied away from the camera.
What's a farm without a couple barn cats . . .
This pretty Calico kitty had 5 kittens and then adopted 10 more from a momma who abandoned her liter. They should name her, Grace.
Daffodils ready to POP with color!
Purple Hyacinth bursting forth, ready to fill the air with fragrance.
The last of the Crocuses for the spring. So beautiful.

It was a good day!

Looks like a great day! Wishing my flowers would start blooming like those, too.
ReplyDeleteI have yet to plant spring bulbs. I have some bulb munching critters around my house. They very same critters that make me worry for my garden plan. Hence the raised bed! Hope your flowers bloom soon!
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish I could have been there! I'm in love with that hair-less bunny. I love farm life... the constant expectation... always something happening. And a whole lot of work... oh, but what fun!
